UP THREE POUNDS!!! !@#*!
Hey everyone!! Beautiful Sunday morning here! Not as warm as yesterday, but a beautiful day just the same.
I had a bad weigh in on Friday…up 3#’s, and it really got the best of me. I am pretty sure I was letting some “blues” enter the picture here anyways, and then the weight!!! UGH! Of course I knew before Friday morning what the weight was gonna be, as I weigh daily. So, what did I do yesterday??? Threw everything out the window, and ate BAD, BAD, BAD!!!!!!!!!:( It’s stupid, and I know it. It scared me too. Made me think about the “old days”…the days before joining buddyslim-the days of eating, eating, and doing NOTHING! I felt shi*** yesterday. I woke up this morning, and thought about it..I can throw all of the work I have done out the window or I can charge ahead. I have decided to CHARGE ahead. I am the only one who can make this happen-it’s up to ME.
I looked at the livingstrong site today. It is pretty cool. I learned that I need around 1700 calories to loose 2# a week…that coupled with light activity. Interesting. I am gonna shoot for that for about two weeks, and see what happens. I know that I need to get the exercise in..no excuses! I hate to be all talk, and no walk -so to speak. I feel like that is what I do. Every week that is one of my goals-Exercise. For the last two weeks it hasnt happened. It’s like dont say it if you arent gonna do it!!!!!!! I always have good intentions, but somethings seems to always get in the way. I must get it done this week. No matter what kind of crazy hours I put in at work. It has to happen.
About the office guy I blogged about previously…..he left for lunch on Wed, and came back with all kinds of groceries to start his diet! He sure was irritable the rest of the week!!!! I felt for him. I am anxious to see how his weekend went. That being said-he is on and I have been off!! Cant let him beat me at this, now can I??!! hehe All the more reason to get with the program.
Thanks to all of you for the continued support….and of course thanks to my wonderful team THE WILDCATS!!!!! This journey has been so different from past attempts..and I owe it all to MY BUDDIES!!!!
Have a wonderful day everyone…and much continued success to all of us!
aww sweetie i gave up this week too and just ate poorly lets jump back on that horse together! im glad he finally got started woohoo
It’s three lbs of water and stress hon!
You are going to be back at this stronger then ever. Just remember Kat, on this journey, you will fluctuate a lot - just ask me and I can show you.
Have a great Sunday. I hope office boy doesn’t go nutso on you guys.

My worst damage in a weekend was a 10 pound gain…and I had to decide like you to stay and wallow in it or charge on! Im glad you decided to do the same
Lets charge ahead into a beautiful new week. I for one am ready to KICK BUTT!!
I too haven’t been doing so well. I have gained 6 pounds in 2 weeks. If you need someone to help you get back on track, I can help. I need all the support too so I can reach my goal of 210 by March 23rd. I may even do better and get to 205 if I can start today and get serious. I have no idea why I have been eating everything in sight. It did start tho when I found some old family pics from my deceased Grandma and back in the day when she and her husband were alive as well as other family members that have since passed. I think this started me on a depression and I turned to eating, something familiar. I am trying to get back on track tho, and with this rain, it’s not helping matters at all!!!
Isn’t good we can always start again! You can do it this week, we support you!
Ate my comment!! You can do it, girl!
It’s a new day and now it’s time to refocus on the goals you want to accomplish. Don’t let the 3lbs gained upset you…you know that you can lose the weight. I hope you have a killer week working out and eating healthy. I know you can do it and you know it too!
Thanks everyone for the support!! Gonna rock it out this week!! Sooo ready to kick butt!
I know it sucks but those times make us look at ourselves and really dig deep and try harder. NO, do not let that guy at work get ahead
One day at a time, my friend! I know it’s frustrating, but YOU are in control of how you do this week! I gained this week myself coming off a BIG loss last week so I expected a gain. The good thing about this is that WE can change this…we don’t have to have surgery or rush to the ER for someone to fix us. Thank God! I’ve made a point, even with the headaches, to try to get in some good workouts this week. I have a plan and I’m NOT giving that up! If I’m not in total control of my food, I’m in control of my workouts!
I have been using the livestrong website since Jan 17 or so and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! You can get back on track Renee, I just know it! Here is to a NEW and great week, ‘kay ?
I know that 3 lbs was frustrating. Good for you for working through it and charging on. I weigh everyday too. I have decided to give up my scale (try to anyway) because there is never any suprise. I know what the scales are going to say. I want to get on on Friday and see a change that is greater than 4 oz!
Might be a good idea for me to give up the scale for a week…..it might make me work harder??!!!
Thanks to all of you buddies…I so very much appreciate the support!!
Girl we all have those weeks…but you did the right thing looking at how far you’ve come! You definitely don’t want to throw it all away…you are one of the best and motivating people on this site! We know you can do it! I love being a wildcat too! Aren’t they the greatest? Big hugs to you girl! Update up on that office guy…I feel for him too!
I know exactly how you feel!! I have lost 74 lbs and have been slacking my butt off for several weeks now, but thanks to all of my fabulous buddies, am back on track now! You’re absolutely right, why should we allow our hard work to go to waste? Charging ahead is definitely the way to go! We deserve to be healthy (and HOT!! LOL!). Keep up the positive attitude and great work!! You can do this!!
its goo that you blogged about it and are baCK on track!
Dont think of that bad day as a waste. It probably jump started your metabolism, because its been a while since your body was used to consuming that much food. SO, in saying that, it had to work harder to burn more. Then if you go back to dieting again, it wakes your body up a little bit. You can read more about this zig-zag method at google or whatever. I used to do it when i was on plateauS. Anyway, good luck and i hope your week is going good!!

I have been gaining weight too, and I did the same thing, just made it worse! I put the brakes on and will help you do the same! Let’s move on from here and take care of ourselves and be good to ourselves.
im begining to realise if things were easy we wouldnt enjoy the end result as much so get back on that horse and keep going and when you get to where you want to be the reward will be that much more satisfying!
maybe ur just maintaining water
